The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to serve Village residents with high-quality recreation programs, well-maintained parks and facilities, and excellent customer service. The department's mission is to provide exceptional facilities, services and programs that enhance the quality of life for all residents through dedicated customer service, community engagement, and enriching experiences. Managing eight parks throughout the Village, the department offers over 150 programs for participants of all ages -- striving to be a leader in providing parks and recreation opportunities creating a better life for all.
Program Registration and Facility Reservations
In order to register for programs, rent a park amenity or reserve a court, you must first register on the Community Pass System and fill out the required forms.

Department Head
Robert C. Mattes, CPRE
Robert was appointed as the Parks and Recreation Director in November 2017. Mr. Mattes previously served as a Director in New York, Maine, and New Hampshire. He earned a Master's in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's in Outdoor Recreation and Psychology from Plymouth State University.
